6th Grade Art

Sixth grade art is a fantastic opportunity for students to get their toes wet on a variety of artistic projects, techniques, cultures, and modes of expressions. As students mature from childhood into adolescence, they find that they are able to sit with their artwork for longer periods of time and develop the patience and know-how for multi-step projects. Students are encouraged to think outside of the box, experiment with different processes, and plan out sketches to execute their final product. They learn to communicate visually and to hone in on their precise vision. This year has been an incredible year. Despite numerous challenges, students were enthusiastic and able to produce work with gusto. Bravo!
