BEHIND THE CURTAIN OF DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY

     Depression and anxiety are medical conditions that I live with daily. These conditions are often misunderstood and casually dismissed by others. My art exposes and expresses the despair, hopelessness, draining exhaustion, and imperceptible pressure caused by these conditions. Because I connect with this topic on such a personal level, I am pulling back the curtain to reveal what depression and anxiety look like in order to enlighten people about this uncomfortable topic to help create awareness and empathy.
