Students created several stamps their first week of school in order to get their feet wet. This project helps the students get used to the consistency of clay, practice mark-making and get to know various tools. Students were challenged to create several kinds of stamps, including those that press and roll, and include a pattern or initials. What fabulous marks they make on the clay! These stamps are then added to the ceramics room collection, and get used year after year.
