Labels

"The reason I chose this topic is because I feel it is not fair to put labels on people just for their appearance. Everyone should be treated for who they really are, not because of their status in society. I relate to this topic because my friends and I are athletes and sometimes we will talk about the sport we play, but when we do, some of our peers believe that is all we talk about. While it seems like a mild thing, it is still upsetting and annoying to hear from other students. I wanted to communicate how sad and disrespectful it is to label someone for their appearance.
