Andy Goldsworthy is an artist who creates many environmental works. He is best known for transforming outdoor spaces and landscapes by arranging natural elements, such as sticks, ice, leaves or stones, to create installations and sculptures. He photographs them and allows nature to reclaim them as they decompose. During this time at home, I wanted to get the students to appreciate the natural beauty in their family outdoor space and respond to it. I challenged them to meditate in their outdoor space, whether it was a balcony or a backyard. After closer observation, they created an installation from found natural elements. These students discovered that they didn't need to leave home to have an artistic adventure of their own!
